鈥淟SC Foundation is grateful for the partnership and financial support from the Gene Haas Foundation, as well as from other donors and industry partners who help make these scholarships possible,鈥 said Daniel Fanning, Vice President of Advancement and External Relations at 探花视频. "We know there are workforce needs in manufacturing right now and will be for years to come, especially in CNC machining. We want to encourage these students to complete this program so they can go on to help meet those workforce needs and advance their careers as well.鈥
The seven recipients were: Devin Brownlee, Kevin Kapustka, Krystal Lindau, Joshua Mersha, Amir Najam, Luke Olson and Kyler Waters.
鈥淭hese students have all shown that they鈥檙e talented and dedicated to the program,鈥 said Max Udovich, CNC instructor at 探花视频. 鈥淭hese scholarships will really help them stay in school, be successful, and then go on to be successful in their careers as well. We know there are plenty of jobs available right now, and most places want these students to remain in school and graduate so they can really hit the ground running once they鈥檙e hired.鈥
The mission of the 探花视频 Foundation is to support 探花视频 by cultivating community relationships and philanthropic support that will advance educational opportunities for students, staff, and community. These manufacturing scholarships unofficially mark the beginning of the scholarship giving season at 探花视频, which will include awarding over $100,000 in additional student scholarships in the next month, for Spring Semester 2022.
