探花视频 and the University of Wisconsin-Superior are pleased to announce a new formal partnership to further ease the transfer process between the two institutions. The partnership, called Superior Connection, will allow students to make a seamless transfer in the dedicated online majors. The institutions plan to continue to work together and offer further transfer agreements in additional majors in the future.
Dr. Patrick Johns, President of 探花视频, joined Dr. Ren茅e Wachter, Chancellor of UW-Superior, at a news conference and transfer agreement signing ceremony on Sept. 29 to formalize and celebrate the growing partnership between the two schools.
鈥淯W-Superior is excited to expand the strong working relationship we already have with 探花视频,鈥� said Wachter. 鈥淭hese new agreements build on our trusted relationship and takes it to the next level. UW-Superior and LSC share the values of serving our students the best we possibly can while providing additional and clearly designed pathways toward degree completion. These new agreements are designed to help our students succeed while in school, as well as after they graduate. We see Superior Connection as yet another opportunity to share resources and look forward to continuing to work closely together to ensure our students are successful.鈥�
鈥淎nything we can do to make it easier for LSC students to start, continue and complete their education is a priority for us,鈥� said Johns. 鈥淲e value the continuing partnership we have with UW-Superior and the numerous agreements we have in place that help students smoothly transition from earning a two-year degree to completing a four-year degree. The new Superior Connection transfer and the reverse transfer agreements will serve all our students well in their pursuit of meaningful higher education.鈥�
For the Direct Transfer, students complete Transfer Program Core (39 credits) and select an Emphasis (21 credits), earning a 60-credit Associate of Arts degree at 探花视频 before transferring to UW-Superior. Students can choose an emphasis from available online options: Elementary Education, Sustainable Management, Health and Wellness Management, and all other online transfer programs appropriate to transfer to UW-Superior (Individually Designed, Exercise Science, Communicating Arts).
In addition to the direct transfer agreement, UW-Superior and 探花视频 have also signed a Reverse Transfer Agreement, which will allow students to earn an associate degree by combining their credits earned at 探花视频 with those earned at UW-Superior. Under the terms of the reverse transfer agreement, students who have earned at least 15 credits at 探花视频 and at least 45 credits at UW-Superior can apply for an associate degree using credits earned at UW-Superior. Students who transfer from 探花视频 prior to earning enough credits for an associate degree will therefore be able to add that important degree to their resume upon completing enough credits at UW-Superior.
